About Intelligent Living Systems

Where did we come from? James Pepper launched Intelligent Living Systems in the spring of 2007 having spent the previous 7 years working in the area of home automation for a key player in the market. In this period he witnessed the expansion and development of the home automation market from its roots in home cinema and multi-room audio to include the new areas of lighting control and formalised structured wiring systems.

Why did we start up? During the explosive growth in the home automation market many companies sprang up but it quickly became apparent that despite selling a good game, many did not have the experience or know-how to truly deliver for their clients. There was niche in the market for an installation business with in-house specialist experience in all areas of home automation that delivered a one-stop-shop for bespoke projects.

The Future. Given the uncertain economic times we now find ourselves in, the home automation business has become more competitive. Intelligent Living Systems is ideally placed to continue providing a high quality service that exceeds our clients’ expectations.
