What is Intelligent Living?

What do we do? Intelligent Living Systems is a one-stop-shop for lighting control, home cinema, multi-room audio & home-future-proofing; we can deliver all of your home automation needs. We design, manage, install and maintain a wide range of custom electronic systems that can help realise the potential of your home and enhance your living experience.

Build-in or Build-on. Regardless of whether you are building your dream home, adding living space or thinking about retro-fitting your home with a system we can take you through the process, step-by-step, from conception to completion.

How do we proceed?

• Consultation. We will meet to discuss your ideas and make suggestions as to how these can be achieved.
• Quotation. Having met to determine your budget and expectations we will draw up a number of proposals which will then be refined into a brief and specification. Assuming that you are happy to go ahead, we then proceed to the design stage.
• Design. Depending on the nature of the work we will meet your architect, interior designer or engineer and incorporate our wiring and design considerations into the building plans and schedules. Your electrician will be issued with simple schematics and cable specifications which will tie our provisions in with the general electrical works.
• First Fix. During first-fix we will visit the site as necessary to ensure cabling is installed as specified and any incidental problems are identified and resolved.
• Second Fix. Our engineers will begin testing & terminating all cables and installing fixtures as determined by the building schedule.
• Commissioning. Prior to occupancy we will complete the physical installation of equipment and configure your system based on our earlier detailed discussions. In the days/weeks following you moving in we will optimise the system as necessary to your complete satisfaction and hopefully exceed your initial expectations.
• Maintenance. We design our systems with a view to minimising the need for maintenance; however we are always available to make modifications if necessary and resolve any problems that may arise. We can of course provide a structured maintenance contract if required.
