Design-only Service

The Concept. If intelligent living appeals to you but not to your budget or perhaps you merely want to future-proof your home for investment purposes, we can provide a rationalised service. Following a consultation process, we issue your electrician with a schematic and wiring schedule and provide remote support. If and when you install equipment, all of the necessary cabling will be in place.

The Process. We will discuss your requirements and draw up the list of features you would like to allow for. We will then add the necessary information to CAD plans supplied by your architect and generate a wiring schedule. We will supply your electrician with a specification so you can purchase the necessary types and quantities of cable.

How much will this cost? The exact cost is obviously based on the amount of time it takes us to produce the package of information. However, a design for an average 200sq.m dwelling with provision for TV, home theatre, data/voice network & 6 zones of multi-room audio will cost in the region of €750 ex VAT. Even if you were never to install any hardware, a professionally designed cable infrastructure will certainly add multiples of this to your homes’ value.
